Bristol Italian Auto Moto Festival 2012 - 28th April 2012
A rather grey and slightly drizzly morning in Bristol's St Nicholas' Market area meant that it was a slightly smaller turnout than in recent years, but there
were still plenty of lovely cars on display including an ex-Mike Hawthorn Ferrari 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe and an extremely rare Lancia Appia
Pininfarina Coupe. The drizzle meant that I could not use a circular polariser so there are a few more relfections than usual, but that doesn't detract from
the quality of the cars! Fingers crossed for a return to sunshine next year!
Piston Heads Sudnay Service: Mercedes Benz World - 1st April 2012
No, this isn't an April Fool's joke! A cold but bright Sunday Service in Weybridge yielded some rarities both old and new. Highlights incuded a Mercedes CLK-GTR Roadster, the
'View Suspended II' artistic installation, a TVR 450 SEAC and the new AC 378 GT Zagato evolved from the Zagato Perana One concept car. The usual high Mercedes Benz
quality even extended to Jody Scheckter's Laverstoke Park Farm sausage and bacon baps!
Piston Heads Sudnay Service: Goodwood - 18th December 2011
Well, it's been a while, but rest assured that all is still well! There is much going on behind the scenes to bring you an improved
experience in 2012! In the meantime, here are 48 photos from a very cold morning at Goodwood with PistonHeads. An impressive turnout
of cars given how icy the roads were, including a white McLaren MP4-12C, a very dirty Ferrari FF and the only road-going Spectre R45.

Donington Collection - 25th August 2011
A slightly delayed report here from a wonderful collection of classics. At the end of August I dropped into the Donington Collection while on holiday to be greeted by
a seemingly modest sized building. What the approach to the building doesn't give away is how it twists and turns and goes back further than expected! There was hall
after hall of classic Grand Prix cars (with a scattering of lower formula cars too) including a whole row dedicated to Williams and an entire hall to McLaren! Sadly the
lighting was difficult, so some images were lost despite a monopod on hand, and a few cars such as the Maserati 250 F and Tom Wheatcroft's Bugatti Royale were not on
display, but this were barely missed as gem after gem uncovered itself: from classic BRMs and Vanwalls through Ayrton Senna's famous 1993 "that lap" McLaren from the
European Grand Prix at a wet Donington to the modern Williams and McLarens, turing each corner held more delights! I hope that you enjoy the images and that they inpire
you to visit! I cannot recommend it enough!
Wilton House August 2011 - 14th August 2011
Wow! What an amazing day to support the Stars Appeal in Wilton, near Salisbury. An astounding turnout of cars including:
Koenigsegg Agera, 2 x Ferrari Enzo, 2 x Bugatti Veyron, Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Aventador, Pagani Zonda F Roadster and, my personal favourite, the unique
right hand drive Koenigsgg CCXR Edition. Stunning! Classics on display included a £2.4 million Ferrari 250 GT SWB, Bugatti Type 35B and an
Aston Martin Vantage V600 le Mans. A great day in great weather...I hope you enjoy the photos!
